Moving Forward Looking Back:
This past year, more than ever, it seems life is flashing before my eyes. Life’s reflection in my rearview mirror has taken much more focus than previously, but looking back on where I have been makes me thankful and excited for what is to come.
Family:
On the family front, this past year brought me a text message from a young man who wanted to meet and talk about my daughter, Morgan; Christmas Eve she came home glowing, with a shiny thing on her finger and an enthusiastic “YES” to his proposal. David, our eldest, has begun to pursue a career in nutrition. Then there is Blain, our youngest; as I write this I sit in a parking lot waiting to pick him up from work, one of the last times I will need to do this on a regular basis. Today, he received his driver’s license and tomorrow he will pick up his “new to him” car, that he paid for in cash. The life I have lived with Heidi, going into 25 years this May (the same month our daughter will wed her fiance), has entered its next season, as we now have more time together and less distractions from our young adults.
Community:
This year, Waffle Wednesday reached more people than ever before. It started in 2013 as a community gathering to eat waffles, drink coffee, and enjoy each other’s company. This year we had over 600 people at our A Very Merry Waffle Wednesday event, where over 1000 toys were donated for local low income families, all while seeing Santa and his “reindeer” (featured on this card at their insistence), enjoying great entertainment, and witnessing a special tribute to the lives of those lost in the Borderline Shooting.
Business:
On the business side, in the early 2000’s, I began looking ahead and quickly adapting strategies to make the mortgage process more efficient and utilize the growing technological advances, to help my customers have the best possible mortgage experience. This year and the years moving forward we will see an even quicker adoption of tools of the digital age. We continue to invest heavily in our education, applications, and systems to make sure we provide you with the best possible mortgage for your needs. We now provide free financial and credit consultations, to review your financial and credit path; our transparency and open environment are here to help you make the best decision for your financial goals.
This marks the 22nd year of The Ross Group. We have grown each year because of the people you introduce us to, thank you! We work hard to make sure each customer is taken care of and given safe, honest mortgage, credit, and financial advice.
As you enjoy this time of year with family, friends, or perhaps by yourself, we wish you tons of joy, clarity, and peace in this new year!
Please, call us for any mortgage or credit questions, referrals to local helpful services, questions about llamas and alpacas, or simply to chat. We love people here at The Ross Group, especially you!
